KateLyn graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Masters in Social Work. She is a Supervisee in Social Work and brings a wealth of knowledge from her academic background and previous work experience working with diverse populations. In addition, she worked with children dealing with trauma and behavioral issues, as well as their families. This, coupled with her compassionate, person-centered, and holistic approach to therapy, creates a safe and inclusive space for individuals to navigate life challenges, manage stress, and foster personal growth. KateLyn employs an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating aspects of mindfulness and breathing techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and nervous system work. Through these modalities, KateLyn provides guidance that educates and empowers individuals on their journey so that they can navigate their life stressors through awareness of thought and behavioral patterns, relationships, and communication. KateLyn understands that a safe and nurturing environment is of the utmost importance when embarking on a path of wellness and hope, and she is committed to providing this so each individual feels heard, respected, and supported.
