Amber has extensive clinical experience supporting individuals facing trauma, substance use recovery, anxiety, and depression. As a licensed professional counselor, she works collaboratively with clients to navigate life’s challenges, offering care, clarity, and practical strategies that support emotional well-being and personal growth.
Her therapeutic approach incorporates evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Basic training (EMDRIA approved). These approaches help clients increase awareness of patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop healthier responses to chronic stress, build sustainable coping skills, and move toward meaningful, values-based change.
In addition to her clinical work, Amber holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology. This background allows her to support clients experiencing workplace stress, burnout, performance pressure, perfectionism, and career transitions. Naturally, a licensed professional counselor helps clients understand how personal well-being connects with the environments and systems in which they live and work.
