Emma Tufts Marriage and Family Intern
Emma is a Marriage and Family Therapist Counseling student at Liberty, graduating with her MA in August 2024, and is supervised by Mark A. Saunders Sr., Ph.D. LMFT. Emma has years of experience working with children and teenagers in various settings. A highlight of her experience was her extended time working with adopted youth at a residential treatment facility.
Emma's approach to therapy is through the lens of a strength-based approach. She utilizes positive psychology, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness skills to help clients reach their full potential. Emma received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology in 2020. Her background in biology gives a unique perspective on the mind-body connection, which she incorporates into sessions to help clients best understand their bodies and behavior.
